Government Contracts Consultant

We are currently searching for a Government Contracts Consulting Candidate with 5-7 years Government Contract Accounting/Finance experience.  The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Solid understanding of Government Contract Accounting in compliance with FAR/DCAA standards.
  • Expertise in one or more Government Contracting Accounting systems such as Deltek GCS, Deltek Costpoint, PROCAS, JAMIS, Unanet, Quickbooks, etc. Conversion experience would be a plus
  • Solid understanding and experience calculating indirect rates
  • Experience with month-end and year-end closings, including Journal Entry preparation and month-end reconciliations
  • Experience processing payroll
  • Experience processing Accounts Payable
  • Experience preparing and reconciling T&M, Cost-plus and other Government Contracting type invoices
  • Experience with quarterly payroll tax filings
  • Experience with Year-end W-2 and 1099 processing
  • Experience with ICE preparation
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Contracts and/or program control experience a plus
  • CPA would be a plus
